Responsibilities

• Perform daily fund accounting responsibilities, including trade error analysis and fund performance analysis.
• Provide support to internal and external auditors.
• Reconcile cash, capital, and underlying asset positions.
• Assist in the creation of annual fund financial statements.
• Support daily fund operations from trading to accounting.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Maintain and develop internal controls.
• Produce reports and ad hoc analysis for management.
• Evaluate processes and drive efficiencies using critical thinking skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related area.
• 2+ years' experience in financial/cost analysis.
• Self-starter who can work on multiple projects with minimal direct supervision.
• Strong technology and data mining skills, particularly expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• High level of proficiency in Access and Oracle is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Ability to effectively connect with senior management on a one-on-one basis.
• Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
