About the position
As a Financial Analyst at Cunard, you will provide essential financial support to Business Development Managers, Directors, and Vice Presidents within Cunard North America. This hybrid role involves collaboration with both North American and UK Finance teams, overseeing budgets, managing financial forecasting, and conducting variance analysis. You will also be responsible for preparing financial presentations and providing ad hoc reporting to leadership, requiring direct interaction with multiple stakeholders to enhance business processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in consolidating and analyzing sales forecasts for Australia and North America.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand financial variances and provide accurate spend data.
- Independently generate month-end reports, ad hoc reports, and benchmarking analyses.
- Develop and automate recurring budget and reporting processes using Salesforce.
- Oversee and audit Cunard North America Sales co-op activities and reporting.
- Coordinate with finance and business/operations departments to support planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Manage fleet car contracts and maintenance, including budgeting and financial tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- MBA or financial certifications (e.g. CPA) a plus.
- 2+ years of finance/accounting experience.
- Experience in financial software and systems including PowerBI, Oracle, and Hyperion.
- Advanced ability in Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial audiences.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred.
- Ability to develop, communicate, and facilitate budget and forecast processes.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-haves
