About the position

The Financial Analyst I at LiftOne serves as a key resource for leadership and the FP&A team, focusing on supporting business objectives through data analysis and financial forecasting. This role involves preparing the annual budget, conducting periodic forecasts, and identifying operational drivers that impact results. The analyst will convert data into meaningful KPIs and actionable business intelligence, making recommendations for continuous improvement. The position acts as a bridge between operations and capital sources, ensuring the business operates at its highest performance.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with region Vice Presidents and Branch Managers to achieve strategic goals.
  • Evaluate alternative uses of capital and model for rental fleet additions.
  • Calculate KPIs and prepare performance dashboards to interpret results.
  • Participate in developing the annual financial plan and run sensitivity analyses.
  • Assist in developing financial acumen within the business through coaching and training.
  • Ensure internal controls are functioning properly to protect company assets.
  • Prepare periodic forecasts for near-term planning purposes.
  • Participate in month- and year-end close processes, reviewing financial statements for anomalies.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested by management.
  • Work with operations to identify and improve cumbersome processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 2+ years of experience in an operations, data analytics, or finance role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with SAP and IBM Planning Analytics preferred.
  • Advanced business and/or financial certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CIA) are a plus.
