About the position

The Financial Analyst at Andrews Distributing plays a crucial role in financial research and analysis to support business strategies aimed at customer revenue growth. Responsibilities

  • Develop analytical business solutions using transactional and syndicated data to drive projects across Brand, Sales, and Planning teams.
  • Lead analysis to provide business recommendations focused on competitive pricing strategies and market share growth.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with Brand Leaders to guide portfolio profitability decisions.
  • Collaborate with financial planning and analyses in forecasting, pricing, and market share discussions.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in pricing projects and share insights from price changes with relevant teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and report on KPIs that measure price changes in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Centric Planning team on customer-focused projects considering customer demographics.
  • Provide analysis and reports for business planning meetings to support the quarterly Brand Plan.
  • Contribute financial modeling input into business cases to support customer growth revenue.
  • Apply understanding of business strategies to develop and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with Financial, Brand, Sales, and HR teams on ad-hoc financial analyses related to revenue growth and market share.
  • Analyze data across the company using financial and supplier data.
  • Maintain data sharing policy and confidentiality across suppliers.
  • Conduct research using various data sources for customer revenue growth analysis.
  • Partner with Market Intelligence and Pricing Optimization teams to deliver fact-based selling stories for sales calls.
  • Attend meetings to gather and analyze data on consumer buying behavior.
  • Produce data, reports, and presentations to support sales processes and goals.
  • Provide financial analytics and reporting based on best practices and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain customer KPIs and provide technical guidance on data trends and reports.
  • Evaluate growth opportunities by supporting Brand leadership with market insights in collaboration with the PMO team.
  • Partner with the PMO team to execute projects company-wide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of financial/business analysis and/or modeling experience.
  • Strong analytical and analysis skills, including financial and accounting analysis.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in business statistical analysis and data-based decision-making models.
  • Proven technical skills with the ability to learn new systems and processes independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Financial acumen and experience using data query tools.
  • Experience with financial, statistical, and/or programming tools (e.g., MS Office, R, SAS, Alteryx).
