The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field and have at least two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will have over five years of accounting experience, particularly in cross-functional responsibilities, financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement. Strong Excel skills and experience with software conversion and implementation are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. The role requires a change ambassador who can embrace and drive change to improve processes and outcomes. In this position, the Accounting Financial Systems Analyst II will assist with various tasks related to the Workday Finance system, including naming conventions, building allocations, and organizing business processes to align with the Workday Finance build and its integration with Workday HCM. The analyst will help streamline and standardize processes, manage accounting cleanup activities, assist with reporting design, and support policy revisions. The role also involves evaluating financial data, performing reconciliations, and preparing financial reports for analysis to present findings to leadership and stakeholders. The successful candidate will own and manage ad hoc reporting requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery, and will support Workday implementation and sustainment projects while validating data accuracy and integrity across financial systems.
