About the position

The Financial Analyst II - Program Controls role at RTX Corporation involves supporting the Ground Based Surveillance Product Area, specifically the Qatar Early Warning Radar Program. The analyst will manage cost control, financial forecasting, and compliance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) standards. This position requires collaboration with various cross-functional teams to ensure effective financial execution and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide monthly variance and data analysis
  • Develop and support Quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development
  • Earned Value (EVMS) Reporting
  • Establish and maintain program logs (MR, UB, BCRs, etc.)
  • Provide financial guidance to Program Managers, IPT leads, and Cost Account Managers (CAMs)
  • Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, maintenance and reporting utilizing standard company tools and processes
  • Review financial reports, presentations, and proposals for accuracy and completeness
  • Work under deadlines and constraints as well as be able to multitask across a variety of tasks and work with all levels of the organization
  • Provide top level program planning and control guidance as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management
  • Work in a challenging and fast paced team environment
  • Frequent interaction and collaboration with various functions (finance, engineering, operations, contract, and program office) and multiple levels of leadership.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Experience in using tools such as SAP Business Systems (ex. APEX, PRISM), Analysis for Office, Microsoft Office suite.

  • Ability to partner with various functional teams and work in collaboration on the successful execution of gate reviews, contract modification negotiations, financial reporting, and EAC's.
