The Financial Analyst II plays a crucial role in utilizing financial and operational data to develop models and analyses that support hospital management in enhancing financial performance. This position is integral to the financial health of assigned clinical and support departments within the hospital. The analyst will collaborate closely with department heads, executive staff, and finance leadership to create analytic models that leverage patient encounter data and other relevant metrics. In addition to model development, the Financial Analyst II will contribute to the annual operating budget and assist in the capital budget development, identifying the operational cost impacts of capital projects. A key responsibility is the accurate calculation of volume, revenue, net revenue, and both direct and indirect costs, which are essential for comprehensive financial analysis. The analyst will also engage with customers to understand their needs, applying their skills and knowledge to research and propose viable solutions that enhance financial performance.
