About the position

The Financial Analyst II is a key member of the FP&A team responsible for developing the company's annual operating plan, conducting forecasting, and performing financial analysis functions. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records and providing analytical support to drive business decisions and improve financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Leads the development of the company's annual operating budget for Distribution Centers and SG&A.
• Drives decisions by providing analytical support through forecasting, performance metrics, and ad hoc analyses.
• Monitors budget performance compared to plan and alerts managers to potential issues.
• Prepares quarterly forecasts.
• Assists with the preparation of monthly performance metrics and executive reporting package.
• Improves existing finance processes to accelerate analysis for proactive identification of business risks and opportunities.
• Serves as an active member on cross-functional teams providing the analytical support necessary to add value to the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or equivalent in education and work experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is a plus.
• Expertise in Excel.
• Proficient in Word and PowerPoint; Access is a plus.
• Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise 1 JDE and BI cube reporting is desired.
• Strong organization and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
