About the position

The Financial Analyst II plays a crucial role in the Washington Health System by monitoring and developing cost management information and preparing financial analyses related to profitability and reimbursements. This position is responsible for presenting financial data to the Controller and ensuring adherence to established standards and policies within the finance department.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and develop cost management information.
• Prepare financial analyses including profitability and reimbursements.
• Present cost and financial analysis to the Controller.
• Report information accurately to the Finance Department team and other members of Washington Health System.
• Complete and demonstrate competency in all technical skills and procedures as delegated.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting department, including journal entry preparation and assistance in preparation of financial statements.
• Knowledge of Global and Medipac, or comparable general ledger and billing systems software.
• Intermediate Excel skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of PC software preferred.
