About the position

The Financial Analyst II supports TTCU's financial stability by preparing and refining critical reports, analyzing data, and assisting with strategies that align with organizational goals. This role involves budget and forecast assistance, balance sheet management, and improving reporting processes to ensure efficient, accurate, and valuable information delivery. The Financial Analyst II adds significant value to TTCU's financial strength while performing duties in compliance with regulatory requirements including the Bank Secrecy Act.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare periodic reports to be used by TTCU management, board members, and employees, including member statistics, financial reports, liquidity reports, Asset Liability Management (ALM) data, board reports, profitability analysis, account and member trends, deposit reports and rates, budget variance, and evaluation of existing products.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for reporting by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data accurately to identify trends and insights using Crystal, Access, and Power BI.
  • Develop and analyze strategies that help TTCU achieve its financial goals, including deposit and loan pricing, interest rate risk management, product structures, economic feasibility analyses, and other strategies.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts based on historical data and market trends, providing supporting data for the net interest margin and fee revenue portions of the annual budget.
  • Refine and improve existing reports to enhance production efficiency and increase report value to the end user, including creating and managing efficient report distribution processes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or another related discipline required.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • 3 years of experience in Finance, preferably within a bank or credit union.
  • Intermediate skills in financial analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook).
  • Understanding of financial regulations and their effect on a financial institution.
