About the position

The Financial Analyst III at GardaWorld is responsible for analyzing the company's financial position and recommending policy actions based on data analysis. This role involves preparing financial reports, processing transactions, and tracking expenses, with a focus on improving productivity through automated accounting applications and effective financial management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
  • Draw charts and graphs to illustrate technical reports using computer spreadsheets.
  • Perform data entry, verification, and backup; maintain a database.
  • Develop automated accounting applications to improve productivity.
  • Manage and coordinate key financial measurements such as revenue, gross profit, expense, and profit and cash.
  • Advise on cost-reducing techniques.
  • Determine pricing for securities offered to the public.
  • Interpret data on yield, price, future investment risk trends, and economic influences.
  • Monitor variances, track receivables, and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Conduct business studies and review accounts, vendor reports, and contractual terms.
  • Recommend investments and prepare action plans for investment using financial analysis.
  • Analyze financial performance and develop forecast models.
  • Perform budget and cost analysis, reviewing and advising on financial status.
  • Conduct risk assessments and evaluate due taxes.
  • Communicate with management, finance personnel, and other analysts on assigned tasks.
  • Present reports on economic trends and individual corporations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
  • Outstanding analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • 3-4 years of business financial planning experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Highly organized and able to work well within time constraints.

Nice-to-haves

  • Report writing experience is a plus.
  • Previous benefits administration experience preferred.
