About the position

The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in the finance team of the Controlled Temperature Technologies Business Unit, focusing on supporting the organization's financial objectives through comprehensive analysis and reporting. This position involves analyzing operational data, improving reporting processes, and collaborating with business partners to drive financial insights and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transactional and operational data, identify anomalies, and perform variance analysis.
• Develop, standardize, and improve regular analyses and reports to share business and financial insights, supporting the forecasting and budgeting process.
• Build and update dashboards and business intelligence tools by data-mining in various systems.
• Investigate data issues, ask pertinent questions, and collaborate with business partners to improve data quality.
• Generate key assumptions and drivers for decision support and conduct ad hoc data analysis to identify business insights.
• Analyze the profitability of products and services, identifying P&L drivers and risks, and driving actions based on findings.
• Translate business inputs into financial assumptions and maintain forecast models to project future business trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in finance.
• Prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organization.
• Proficient in systems such as CMR, Hyperion planning, Power BI, Cognos, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize and present information concisely.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to learn quickly, meet deadlines, and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
• Good understanding of business processes, operations, and financial controls.
