About the position

The Financial Analyst/Incentive Compensation role at Provident Bank serves as a key partner to Retail and Lending business units, focusing on providing data-driven insights to support business and strategic decisions. The position involves producing and analyzing financial metrics that drive incentive plans for these teams, with responsibilities including incentive compensation modeling, business line reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing quarterly incentive results/payouts via Axiom Software for existing Retail Incentive Plans.
• Collaborate on the implementation/automation of Lending Incentive results/payouts via Axiom Software.
• Create, maintain, and ensure data quality of Business Unit Reports/Management Reports in Axiom Software.
• Participate in special projects and support the company's financial systems, budget/forecast tasks, and evaluation of new incentive modeling systems.
• Collaborate with the Accounting team on data requests, variance analytics, and reconciliations.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in financial/compensation analysis or a similar role.
• Proficient in handling large sets of data.
• Detail-oriented and organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Banking knowledge preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
• Proficient in Excel, with knowledge of advanced formulas.
• Exceptional analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
