About the position

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Finance Intern who will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team through various tasks related to actuals reporting, budgeting, and project analysis. This position is designed for individuals who are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited college. The intern will be responsible for performing detailed weekly actuals reporting, assisting with budgeting processes, and contributing to new project initiatives. Additionally, the candidate will engage in forecasting and analysis, providing valuable insights to the finance team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reporting and data management. The Finance Intern will also be expected to utilize their proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to create and manage complex spreadsheets, including the use of pivot tables, lookups, and graphs. Familiarity with financial tools such as SAP, Cobra, and Hyperion is desired, as these tools will aid in the execution of financial tasks. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment, where the intern will collaborate with experienced professionals and contribute to meaningful projects that align with Lockheed Martin's mission of innovation and excellence. The position supports a flexible work schedule, allowing for part-time remote telework, which will be discussed during the hiring process. Responsibilities

Requirements
