About the position

BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking a Financial Analyst Journeyman to support Department of Defense programs at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake and Point Mugu Naval Base. Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative analyses of financial data and information affecting programs
• Interpret complex data and identify trends
• Use software tools for data analysis and financial modeling
• Perform all functional duties independently at a Journeyman level
• Review financial statements and other data to assess financial health
• Study economic trends and market conditions to provide context for business decisions
• Build models to forecast future financial performance and trends
• Compile reports that summarize findings and provide actionable insights

Requirements

• 3-10 years of experience performing the duties described
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reports and models
• Ability to work independently; self-starter
• Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, including MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a relevant technical discipline
• 6 years additional work experience or an Associates' Degree plus 4 years additional work experience may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree
• Active DoD Secret Level Clearance
• US citizenship at the time of application
