About the position

The Financial Analyst Junior position is a contract role within a global financial institution, focusing on operational support for Syndicate Operations and Trade Support. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment. The analyst will work closely with senior stakeholders across various divisions, driving discussions and delivering process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Run point on sizable and complex transactions for the team and manage multiple aspects of the new issuance process from deal structuring through settlement.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of risks associated with transactions and escalate issues timely to ensure appropriate resolution.
• Develop strong partnerships with business partners, including direct interaction with the Syndicate Desk, BCU, and Coverage teams.
• Coordinate with external vendors, including DTCC, Transfer/Paying Agents, Financial Advisors, and external counsel.
• Identify process improvements and help implement solutions.

Requirements

• Prior experience in Trade Support, Syndicate Operations, or an Operations role.
• Technical understanding of Fixed Income products and operational support functions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables.
• Confidence to drive discussions with senior stakeholders across multiple divisions.
• Proficiency in MS Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
