About the position

The Financial Analyst position at Lockheed Martin involves supporting the Air Dominance team in a high visibility program. The role focuses on financial analysis, budgeting, and Earned Value Management (EVM) to assist in contract management and proposal preparation. The analyst will work closely with engineers and the technical community to provide actionable recommendations and ensure proper cost allocation, contributing to the overall success of the Engineering & Technology function.

Responsibilities

• Assist with contract Earned Value Management (EVM) set-up and management.
• Perform cost control and analysis.
• Prepare proposals and manage New Business Acquisition Expenditures (NBAE).
• Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Perform variance analysis and trend identification.
• Assess risks and opportunities and develop mitigation plans.
• Integrate information from multiple financial systems for actionable recommendations.
• Ensure costs are allocated according to established procedures.
• Provide subject matter expertise support to proposal development and negotiations.

Requirements

• 3 years of professional experience or 1 year with a related Master's degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in planning budgets and analyzing performance.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Secret Clearance with investigation within 5 years.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in budgeting and Earned Value Management (EVMS).
• Experience with estimating and workforce planning.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
