About the position

The Financial Analyst position at CVS Health is a full-time role within the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) Finance Operations Department. The Analyst will support member-facing financial operations for Medicare Part D members, focusing on various financial activities such as cash application, client escalations, and reconciliations. This role also involves mentoring junior team members and driving the successful implementation of the new department. The ideal candidate should thrive in a high-pressure environment and collaborate effectively with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Support member-facing financial operations activities for Medicare Part D members.
• Assist in cash application, premium prioritization, banking and treasury, and client escalations.
• Handle dunning, good cause reinstatements, reconciliations, client reporting, and member disputes.
• Mentor junior team members and help drive the new department forward.
• Collaborate with colleagues across PBM Finance Operations, Treasury, and Premium Billing.

Requirements

• 1+ year of professional experience in customer service, billing, finance, accounting, or healthcare operations.
• Strong work ethic and self-starter attitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and determine conclusions.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using SAP.
• Experience with bank lockbox check processing and/or credit card processing.
• Well organized with the ability to effectively prioritize work.
• Strong attention to detail and thorough research skills.
• Ability to handle a high volume of work within defined turnaround times.
