About the position

The Financial Analyst - Net Revenue position at AdventHealth is a critical role that focuses on the recognition of revenue in healthcare, which is a high-risk estimation process requiring significant oversight and frequent analysis. This position is located at the AdventHealth corporate headquarters in Altamonte Springs, FL, and is responsible for performing centralized procedures around net patient service revenue calculations. The role involves utilizing the Crowe Revenue Cycle Analytics (RCA) tool for hospital net revenue calculations, as well as a non-hospital Excel net revenue template. Analysts will conduct hindsight and lookback analyses to validate the net revenue estimation process, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to follow detailed process documentation, and a commitment to meeting critical deadlines. In this role, the Financial Analyst will assist with the preparation of net revenue pre-close and close procedures on a monthly basis. Key responsibilities include performing routine centralized reserve calculations, preparing calculations for manual adjustments, and maintaining documentation of the processes used. Analysts will also utilize Excel for analyzing Crowe RCA reporting and developing templates to streamline routine processes. Generating and maintaining reports from the Crowe RCA tool for month-end close processes, internal audits, and external audits is also a significant part of the job. Additionally, the analyst will assist facilities in analyzing net revenue results and monitor data feeds from the patient accounting system into the Crowe RCA tool daily. The role requires maintaining the standard non-hospital Excel template for physician and home health service lines, working with the Net Revenue Senior to process changes, and drafting communication of these changes to end users. Analysts will validate AdventHealth's allowance methodology through hindsight or lookback analyses, communicate results to facility leadership, and maintain documentation for external auditors. The position also involves transitioning Legacy system accounts receivable to an AdventHealth standard net revenue template and preparing monthly and quarterly reporting for the AdventHealth Accounts Receivable Securitization program. A continuous improvement focus over the estimation, reporting, and analysis of net revenue is essential, along with effectively presenting and communicating net revenue issues to facility leadership and auditors.
