About the position

The Financial Analyst, Non-Student Receivables at Georgetown University is responsible for managing revenue recognition and receivables from non-student customers. This role involves reviewing contracts, invoicing customers, reconciling accounts, and ensuring efficient payment processes. The analyst will collaborate with various finance offices and support cash management and customer service operations within the Revenue and Receivables department.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer contracts to ensure proper and timely revenue recognition and invoicing.
  • Invoice customers according to revenue generating agreements, including developing invoice templates.
  • Account for payment and non-payment from University customers, taking appropriate action.
  • Reconcile customers' receivable accounts to the general ledger and outstanding invoices.
  • Develop efficient ways for customers to remit payment simply and securely.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Experience in a finance, accounting, or business operation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in a higher education environment preferred.
  • Experience with the Workday Financials system, particularly customer contracts and invoicing preferred.
