About the position

The Banking Center Manager at Midland States Bank is a leadership role responsible for driving business development and managing a team of sales and service professionals. Responsibilities

  • Direct the work of staff to identify financial needs of customers.
  • Set expectations and career development plans for branch staff.
  • Generate portfolio growth by identifying cross-sell opportunities.
  • Integrate business partners into the branch team to drive sales.
  • Fluent with all lending products including consumer lending.
  • Create and execute effective business plans to grow market share.
  • Develop and foster relationships with small business customers.
  • Provide timely performance feedback to employees.
  • Review branch activity reports to meet profit and performance objectives.
  • Cultivate an engaged and well-coached team.
  • Participate in community activities and bank-sponsored events.
  • Lead strategic district initiatives to improve processes and results.
  • Achieve or exceed personal and team goals as set.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of sales management experience with a proven track record.
  • Minimum 5 years of retail sales and customer service experience.
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration required.
