About the position

The Financial Analyst will support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Directorate at WPAFB, Ohio, focusing on financial and budget-related operations. This role involves collaboration with financial managers and program managers to ensure effective planning, analysis, execution, and reporting of financial transactions. The position requires a TS/SCI clearance and is located on-site in Dayton, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Develop a budget execution plan and prepare Budget Estimate Submission (BES) and Program Objective Memorandum (POM).
• Participate in Spring Program/Execution Review (SPR/SER), Program Executive Officer (PEO) Review, and Investment Budget Review (IBR) preparation.
• Maintain a budget track and assist in preparing reprogramming actions for unfunded requirements.
• Prepare monthly BMR charts and run obligation and expenditure deviation reports.
• Monitor commitment, obligation, and expenditure forecasts.
• Research and document financial policy issues and defend them to management.
• Prepare and process funding documents in Automated Business Services System (ABSS).
• Develop and defend Continuing Resolution Authority (CRA) inputs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in government financial management.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Current TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Proficiency in Appropriation Law and understanding of purpose, time, and amount principles.
• Working knowledge of Government Accounting and Finance Systems, including CCAR, CRIS, and WAWF.
• Experience in preparing and processing funding documents in ABSS.
