The Product Development Financial Analyst/Business Partner will play a crucial role in partnering with Cirrus' Product Development team to deliver key business insights and support strategic programs and projects. This position is designed for an individual who can collaborate effectively with Product Development leadership to identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by leveraging and improving upon existing metrics. The analyst will be responsible for identifying business trends through related measurement and analysis, which is essential for driving the company's innovation agenda. In this role, the analyst will analyze historical spending trends, evaluate different scenarios, and help the business team understand potential trade-offs. The position is rife with opportunities to make an impact both at a direct financial level through insightful data analysis and recommendations, and indirectly through influencing processes and policy. The analyst will act as a lead business partner to Product Development leadership, providing financial outlook and performance insights, and actively participating in cross-functional meetings. The responsibilities include preparing annual financial budgets, updating financial projections, and conducting variance analysis to identify headcount, operating, outsourcing, and expense savings opportunities. The analyst will engage in monthly reviews, providing financial insights to key drivers of change and ensuring that results are well understood by decision-makers. Additionally, the analyst will collaborate with Product Development to recommend scalable business solutions related to planning and budgeting, and act as a liaison between the business team and accounting department to ensure accurate financial accounting. This position requires the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on details while also addressing high-level challenges. The analyst will create, maintain, and validate reporting tools for Product Development analysis, and perform ad hoc financial analysis as requested. Being a member of the Product Development Leadership Team (PDLT), the analyst will attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and participate in PDLT events, contributing to the overall success of the team.
