About the position

The Financial Analyst at Proliant Dairy Ingredients is responsible for conducting complex financial analyses to support management decision-making. This role involves in-depth research to identify key financial drivers and the interpretation and reporting of financial findings. The analyst will work closely with various teams to enhance financial performance and provide insights through detailed reporting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support for Proliant Dairy Ingredients by interpreting financial data and key metrics.
• Develop strong working relationships across all geographies and functional teams including sales, operations, innovation, and shared services.
• Improve financial performance by preparing and enhancing meaningful analysis of businesses on an ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Prepare and develop monthly financial management reporting packages and supporting detail by product and industry.
• Provide analysis of financial statistics and operating benchmarks to assist management in strategic decision making.
• Prepare profit and loss models, balance sheets, and other management reports to forecast financial outcomes.
• Consult with department leaders to determine key drivers in performance and understand business results.
• Work closely with MIS to design and develop tools for data gathering and information delivery.
• Forecast financial outcomes by developing reporting tools incorporating sales, supply/demand, and operational forecasts.
• Lead detailed monthly and quarterly financial analysis discussions with management.
• Assist in the preparation of comprehensive annual plans and presentations to stakeholders.
• Continuously strive to streamline systems, processes, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or MIS required.
• 2+ years financial analysis experience required.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of cubes preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
