About the position

The Financial Analyst position at Qualcomm offers an exceptional opportunity to work within the QCT Finance team, focusing on managing R&D headcount and expense reporting across various business units including Mobile, Compute, XR, Infrastructure, and Tech. The role involves consolidating R&D actuals and forecasts, conducting variance analysis, and preparing financial reports and management-level presentations. The successful candidate will engage in ad hoc analysis and process improvements while collaborating closely with Program Management, Product Management, Engineering, and Finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate R&D actuals and forecasts by project and group.
• Allocate headcount and expense targets to groups and business units.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Prepare management-level presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support financial decision-making.
• Proactively improve business processes that impact finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 1+ year of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field may substitute for up to one year of work experience.
