About the position

The Financial Analyst plays a crucial role within the Corporate Finance team, providing support to Controllers and various financial areas through analysis and initiatives related to planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. This position is integral in enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and processes, while also contributing to special projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational and financial data in collaboration with Controllers and the Finance team.
• Generate reports and ad hoc analyses to provide timely insights and enhance reporting efficiency.
• Assist in eliminating manual processes and redundancies in financial reporting.
• Create detailed financial models and reports by interpreting data from various systems.
• Maintain and analyze rate structures, providing recommendations for necessary changes.
• Review financial information for data integrity and compliance with cost accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze monthly cost allocations and annual Incurred Cost Proposal submissions.
• Maintain cost structures within accounting and forecasting systems.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of related policies and processes.
• Engage in self-development through available training opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of one year of relevant work experience, or equivalent education/experience in Finance, Accounting, or Internal Audit.
• Demonstrated experience in financial forecasting, planning, and budgeting.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with data modeling and business visualization tools.
• Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
• Proficiency in statistical/modeling software.
