The Financial Analyst is responsible for recording and reporting financial data, providing support to the mPa management team, accurately recording, and reporting general ledger activity. The Financial Analyst reports directly to the mPa leadership team. In this role, you will manage project administration on joint venture and tri-venture contracts, prepare journal entries, reconcile financial statements and accounts, and review data for accuracy. You will ensure that contract terms and conditions meet Federal and State regulations and requirements are met, process billing including AIA requisitions & invoices, and monitor contract compliance in Prime, Subcontractors, Joint and Tri Venture Agreements. Additionally, you will assist with Balance Sheet preparation and Monthly Account reconciliations, maintain and update the Fixed Assets spreadsheet, review cash deposits, and prepare cash receipt journal entries. You will also file and maintain all journal entries for internal and audit purposes, assist in automating processes and procedures, and track and report contract obligations being met. Other duties may be assigned by the leadership team as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project administration on joint venture and tri-venture contracts

  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership team

Requirements

  • Possess 8+ years of accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Proficient with Microsoft office programs
  • Experience with Oracle accounting applications
  • Must possess analytical skills and evaluation techniques
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
