About the position

The financial analyst role at Raytheon within the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) business area focuses on managing the financial performance of the Radar Development Contract. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial objectives and the execution of program management tasks, including Earned Value Management and Estimate at Completion processes.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain the overall baseline compliant with program instruction and internal EVM policy.
  • Prepare detailed cost CDRLs including Integrated Program Management Reports (IPMRs).
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of Estimate at Complete (EACs) and Budget Change Requests (BCRs).
  • Provide thorough cost, schedule, and variance at complete analysis.
  • Utilize and share knowledge of the RTN Earned Value Management system process 10255 policy within the program team.
  • Communicate effectively with all partners.
  • Support Ad Hoc Tasks & Analysis as required.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic.
  • Typically requires 2+ years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 0-2+ years prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Program Controls (Cost/Schedule), and/or Estimate at Completion (EAC) Process.
  • MS Office experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • SAP APEX EV, Rplan, BW, PMX, and EDIT+ experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite of tools (EXCEL, Power Point, Word).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize workload.
  • Must be independent and self-motivated.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines.
  • Proactive with demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve.
  • Working knowledge of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Earned Value Certification.
