About the position

The Financial Analyst position at Penske Logistics involves providing critical accounting and analytical support for various finance processes. The role requires a strong understanding of financial metrics and systems to support field operations, with a focus on sales finance, operations finance, and financial decision-making. The analyst will work in a hybrid environment, spending three days in the office and two days remote, contributing to the overall financial performance of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Articulate the value proposition to the field and customers by identifying critical metrics for measuring Penske's performance.
• Effectively plan and forecast business results.
• Analyze and interpret financial results compared to the proforma or business plan, understanding the relationship to P&L and the impact of scope and volume changes and inefficiencies.
• Lead and direct the process for identifying, specifying, and developing innovative financial strategies using PMT and LEAN principles to determine the optimum financial solution between leasing and buying.
• Assist with other projects as assigned.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as an Analyst.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel as necessary and work at the specific location required.
