About the position

The Financial/Business Analyst will play a crucial role in the PTI Services Operations team, focusing on full cycle processes related to real estate acquisitions, site development, and contract administration. This remote position requires a candidate based near Sacramento, CA, who will manage contract negotiations, financial reporting, and RFP processes while ensuring compliance with corporate objectives in the telecommunications sector.

Responsibilities

  • Lead negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure favorable contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepare, review, and modify contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract terms meet business needs and mitigate risks.
  • Maintain a centralized contract repository and tracking system to monitor contract status and key milestones.
  • Coordinate supplier and client contract amendments, extensions, and terminations as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance activities, including contractor prequalification and auditing processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Client RFPs and distribute RFP documents to the executive team.
  • Review company responses for accuracy and compliance before submission.
  • Identify and assess contractual risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential liabilities.
  • Work proactively to resolve disputes and claims arising from contracts.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and integrate relevant insights into operational processes.
  • Drive process improvements within the contracts management function.
  • Create visually appealing presentations using images, charts, and graphs.
  • Support financial reporting by understanding budgeting and economics, and performing data analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • 5+ years of related experience, preferably within the wireless telecom or telecommunications industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in real estate and site development required.
  • Proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and administration with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Familiarity with contract management software and tools is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with strong financial analytical skills.

  • Fluency in additional languages, such as Spanish, is preferred.
