About the position

The Financial Analyst position at RedGuard involves conducting financial planning and analysis to support management decision-making. The role requires collaboration with various departments and external financial institutions, focusing on updating and analyzing financial models to ensure accurate information is available for informed decisions. The analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial stability of the organization by providing timely and relevant insights to the management team.

Responsibilities

  • Updates projection models regularly, incorporating actual data each month, and revises assumptions and projected data on a weekly basis to ensure projections remain accurate and aligned with the latest information available.
  • Compiles and summarizes data to provide concise findings of information to the management team. Prepares reports, and presentations, and delivers findings, analysis, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
  • Streamlines reporting processes by implementing automated reports, enabling efficient access to data for all relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitors and tracks financial performance by comparing actual results against the planned targets, identifying and investigating variances, and reporting them to management.
  • Supports the annual Tax, Audit, and Appraisal processes by providing the necessary financial information and analysis.
  • Conducts ad hoc analysis and special projects as assigned, providing insightful financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role.
  • Proven experience in reporting, forecasting, analyzing financial information, driving process improvements, and contributing to financial planning activities.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel for complex data analysis, self-sufficiency, and modeling.
  • Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify issues, analyze data, and provide sound recommendations.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear presentation of financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, such as operations, sales, or marketing, to gather relevant data and insights for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in analyzing and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and assessing financial risks associated with capital investments.
  • Experience in conducting financial modeling, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.
