About the position

The Financial Analyst position at Intrepid involves supporting the Modern Delivery - RPA team by managing financial processes, ensuring compliance with Army accounting principles, and providing technical assistance to government customers. The role requires a strong understanding of financial management and the ability to analyze and improve automated processes within the Army's General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).

Responsibilities

  • Completing requested pre-development and post-development documents.
  • Monitoring automated processes related to Army Accounting.
  • Supporting the design and development of RPA solutions.
  • Analyzing production automation processes to identify failures.
  • Leading meetings and efforts to resolve Unmatched Transactions (UMTs).
  • Researching Unmatched Transactions and coordinating with analysts for remediation.
  • Tracking and resolving Intermediate Document (IDOC) Interface Error Reports.
  • Providing professional support for daily business operations in GFEBS.
  • Assisting in the compilation of Financial Audit Packages and remediation of weaknesses.
  • Maintaining financial error trackers and providing status updates to customers.
  • Supporting governance of the RPA process regarding Army Accounting logic.
  • Tracking metrics and financial projections on time saved for projects.
  • Facilitating communications between clients, developers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • An active SECRET security clearance.
  • A bachelor's degree in a non-STEM field.
  • 5-10 years of financial management execution experience.
  • Knowledge of GFEBS, DTS, SPS, LMP, FCM, AXOL, ATAAPS, and DCPS.
  • In-depth knowledge of Army accounting processes and legacy systems.
  • Ability to format reports and analyze BI/ECC data.
  • Experience working in fully remote settings with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Reimbursable Support Agreements and G-Invoicing processes.
  • Sufficient experience in researching UMTs and formulating solutions.
  • Experience utilizing various Army financial systems.
