About the position

Byram Healthcare is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team at the corporate headquarters in White Plains, NY. This role involves working closely with Billing & Reimbursement teams, Finance Teams, and senior leadership to ensure accurate reporting of the company's revenue cycle operations. The Financial Analyst will analyze collections, write-offs, denials, and workflow efficiencies, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making and contribute to the financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis of collection efforts and provide recommendations to management for corrective actions.
  • Leverage data to evaluate company performance and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Billing & Reimbursement departments to assess financial and operational outcomes and drive process improvements.
  • Provide ongoing support through detailed data analysis to Managers and Supervisors within the revenue cycle process.
  • Interpret and present financial results to both finance and non-finance teams, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Work directly with senior management on high-impact initiatives, contributing to the company's overall growth strategy.
  • Perform ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data modeling, and formulas.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle complex problems under pressure.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare finance or revenue cycle management.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence systems such as Cognos or Power BI.
