About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst in Revenue Management at Indiana University Health plays a crucial role in supporting the system's Net Revenue management through comprehensive data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling. This position involves assisting with month-end close processes, yearly budgeting, and forecasting, utilizing advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL Server, and Power BI. The analyst will provide insights through accurate analysis to facilitate informed decision-making and identify trends in complex data sets.

Responsibilities

• Support the system's Net Revenue management through data analysis, interpretation, reporting, and modeling.
• Assist in month-end close processing and the yearly budget and forecasting process.
• Perform monthly and/or ad hoc reporting and prepare pro formas based on historical, comparative, and projection data.
• Provide accurate analysis to support outcome and impact-based decision making.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant financial and operational analysis experience.
• Analytical experience working with complex data sets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products/applications, with strong Microsoft Excel experience required.
• Experience with SQL Server and Power BI is a plus.
