About the position

The Financial Analyst position is a 12-month hybrid role based in Berkeley Heights, NJ, primarily responsible for managing Purchase Orders and ensuring financial accuracy in the reconciliation of Goods Receipts to Invoices. The role involves financial reporting, consolidation of IT costs, and collaboration with business partners to enhance compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of corporate finance, particularly in Accounts Payable processes.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve Shopping Carts, validating SOWs, financial structure, and payment schedules, while providing feedback to business partners.
  • Reconcile Goods Receipts, Delivery Schedules, and Invoices to reduce time to pay vendors.
  • Perform month-end tasks, including YFAP report entry and preparation of journal entries and manual accruals analysis.
  • Consolidate IT Americas Zone expenses, including OPEX and CAPEX, and communicate monthly performance against budget.
  • Monitor actual spending activities, analyze variances, and report financial performance to senior management.
  • Collaborate with IT clients to address budget issues and ensure financial commitments are met accurately.
  • Work with zone BRMs, IT Budget Owners, and the CIO team to report on the status of current year IT OPEX and CAPEX projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Corporate Finance, particularly in Accounts Payable.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems, especially SAP, and financial transactions.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with Power BI.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
