About the position

As a Financial Analyst at Michels Corporation, you will play a crucial role in providing accounting support across various business units. This position involves financial planning, analysis, and reporting for both external-facing and cost-based businesses within Michels Engineering and Preconstruction Solutions. The role requires strong analytical skills to communicate financial information effectively to business leaders, ensuring informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support financial planning, analysis, and reporting for assigned business units.
• Analyze and document financial data to provide insights to business leaders.
• Facilitate recurring system processes related to external-facing jobs.
• Execute month-end close activities and support annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Complete general accounting activities as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of related experience in financial analysis or accounting.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools such as SAP, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
