About The Position

PING, Inc., maker of PING golf equipment, is seeking a Financial Analyst. This entry-level position supports financial and business analysis efforts, with a primary focus on developing Power BI reports, supporting Infor M3 reporting processes, and generating ad-hoc financial reports. The Financial Analyst will collaborate with the Financial Analysis Manager and team members, assisting with financial reporting tasks, cross-departmental projects, and professional development opportunities. This position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area, relocation assistance will be provided.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a properly accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Internships or coursework related to financial reporting, Power BI, and accounting principles are highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, recordkeeping, time management and team skills with the proven ability to build consensus.
  • Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Well organized, detail oriented, proactive, process and data driven with an ability to prioritize multiple deadlines/projects.
  • Intermediate level of computer literacy of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to assist in creating and managing spreadsheets for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Basic understanding of Power BI, with the willingness to learn how to create and modify reports and dashboards.
  • Willingness to contribute to cross-departmental projects, particularly in supporting reporting efforts.
  • Eagerness to develop project management skills through exposure to various reporting and analysis projects.
  • Ability to develop a rapport with department managers as well as all the accounting staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver ad-hoc financial reports as requested by management or other departments.
  • Support the Infor M3 reporting processes, including data extraction and report generation.
  • Assist in the development of Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Aid in the preparation of audit and tax schedules for annual reviews and tax returns.
  • Help prepare census and other government reports.
  • Develop an understanding of GAAP principles and assist in applying them to the company's financial reporting and activities.
  • Support the preparation and analysis of the annual budget and monthly management reporting.
  • Perform various financial statement analyses.
  • Prepare analyses as requested for State and Federal audits.
  • Identify high risk areas for further review and analysis. Keeps management informed of related potential issues and concerns.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Infor M3 General Ledger and reporting tools.
  • Have ability to travel domestically when required.
