Aspire Bakeries is seeking a Financial Analyst in General Accounting to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. As a leading North American baking company, we pride ourselves on our innovative food portfolio, which includes a variety of specialty frozen baked goods. This role is crucial in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial data. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams, including payroll, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), transactional finance, treasury, tax, and bakery finance. This position will also play a key role in assisting with the year-end financial audit and participating in special projects that align with the company's objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for completing the month-end closing process, preparing balance sheet account reconciliations, and uploading journal entries related to Concur, Payroll, and Treasury. You will ensure a strong internal control environment and support the establishment of controls and procedures related to centralized general accounting. Additionally, you will assist with system implementations and automation projects, contributing to the overall efficiency of our financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to meeting deadlines while adapting to changes in processes as needed.
