About the position

The Financial Analyst role at Tend focuses on providing specialized analytical and finance support to enhance the company's development and operations. The position involves driving key financial processes, including long-range planning, performance analysis, and reporting, to ensure the financial health of the organization. The analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and support strategic business initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, explain, and present the financial performance and plans of the business
• Work with a variety of stakeholders to gather inputs, validate recommendations, and provide support
• Provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations for financial performance
• Communicate analysis and recommendations clearly and succinctly with executive presence
• Support an efficient and effective planning process that produces accurate and logical plans
• Deliver strategic business support through financial insights and guidance
• Join, support, lead, and/or develop projects to drive business
• Assist development team in launching new studios and provide feedback on site selection and forecasting
• Forecast financial performance and all financial statements
• Conduct monthly financial reviews, weekly financial metrics, and scorecards
• Develop, analyze, and deliver month-end journal entries

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related subject
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant finance experience, with a focus on Financial Planning and Analysis preferred
• Proven ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
• Demonstrated accomplishments in building dashboards in a Business Intelligence tool, such as Google Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience in business process improvement
• Attention to detail
• Creativity in analyzing complex and ambiguous business issues and datasets
