About the position

The Financial Analyst role at IntelliPro Technologies involves conducting comprehensive financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions. The analyst will develop and review monthly operating statements, analyze reports, provide updates to management, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. This position requires collaboration with various departments and contractors to manage budgets and forecasts effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions.
• Develop and review monthly operating statements comparing actual results to budget and forecast.
• Analyze monthly operating and maintenance reports and discuss results with Management.
• Provide status reports and updates to management in a timely manner.
• Attend meetings with contractors and company personnel on cost control matters.
• Interface and coordinate with other corporate and operations groups.
• Abide by cost and planning control policy and procedures.
• Consolidate O&M spend forecasting and budgeting reports (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly).
• Compile, review, and present monthly forecasting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and internal policies (SOX compliance).
• Review Economic Models to assist data analysis.
• Partner with business partners to review actuals, variance comments, and forecast updates.
• Proactively update month-to-date spend with business.
• Perform recurring reporting and other ad hoc activities as assigned.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with Microsoft Excel and SAP for creating and reviewing monthly forecasting schedules.
• Experience managing operations and maintenance budgets and forecasting for multiple cost centers or business units.
• Direct hands-on experience leading monthly budget review calls with SOX compliance.

Nice-to-haves

• Accounting or Finance background preferred.
