About the position

As a Financial Analyst at Belkin, you will play a crucial role in providing commercial teams with insights and analyses to drive financial performance and operational excellence. This position focuses on Sales Channel Support, Operational Expense (OPEX) Management, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial information into strategic business insights.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key business partner to commercial teams, offering financial insights and recommendations to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Work closely with the sales team to analyze channel/product performance and profitability.
  • Evaluate pricing strategies, promotions, and sales incentives to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Provide financial support for sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
  • Track, analyze, and report key revenue and margin drivers for the commercial teams, identifying trends and potential risks/opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to assess the financial impact of campaigns, promotions, and other commercial activities.
  • Help drive and update OPEX budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for R&D departments.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, profit improvement, and tracking performance against targets.
  • Oversee assigned cost center OPEX accruals/reclass process, ensuring accurate allocation of expenses and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly analyses of financial results, including financial statement variances against budget, trend analysis, and account analysis.
  • Provide explanations and recommendations for gap closure or corrective action.
  • Prepare annual budget including financial budgeting model, uploading and validating data into the database, creating reports and analyses, and coordinating with key personnel from various departments.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, providing insights to optimize business performance.
  • Fulfill responsibilities under ISO 9001 and 14001; understand and fully support ISO system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably supporting commercial or sales functions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial modeling and functions.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and financial reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, Tableau).
  • Proven experience and knowledge of accounting concepts and financial statement construction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
