Responsibilities

• Monthly financial reporting and performance analysis
• Analyze the profitability of the business unit
• Assist in the development and maintenance of key metrics for the business unit
• Perform modeling and financial analysis related to pricing, product development, promotion, productivity, capacity, and return on capital investments
• Highlight strengths and weaknesses in the financial aspects of the business
• Drive cost reductions and process improvements in collaboration with the business unit
• Coordinate and prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for revenues, expenses, and capital
• Analyze key drivers of revenues and costs to implement actionable measures
• Assist in month-end closing
• Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis and modeling
• Experience with discounted cash flow, lease versus buy, cost/benefit, valuation, and sensitivity analyses
• Proven ability to analyze monthly financial results and perform in-depth financial analysis
• Experience in establishing financial controls and strategies to build Economic Value Added (EVA)
• Ability to work with management to set and achieve goals and assist in the development of forecasts and budgets
• Experience in developing and presenting performance reports to management
• MBA from a top school or 4-6 years of related experience
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
