Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions, such as assessing product profitability and identifying cost optimization areas.
  • Create and utilize financial models for forecasting purposes, supporting the budgeting process, as well as monitoring and reporting on actual performance compared to budget.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, board of directors, and external stakeholders.
  • Take an active part in strategic planning processes to identify key business objectives and develop financial plans to support them.
  • Ensure data consistency, solve problems, and develop new methods of analysis.
  • Provide financial analysis support to cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, human resources, and operations.
  • Execute ad hoc financial analysis to support various business needs.
  • Utilize skills such as Ad Hoc Financial Analysis, Budgeting - Forecasting, Cost Variance, Inventory Variance, Manufacturing Variance, and Purchase Price Variance to perform tasks effectively.

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of one year of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a related role
  • Proficiency in Ad Hoc Financial Analysis
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Understanding and experience in Cost Variance analysis
  • Experience in Inventory Variance and Manufacturing Variance analysis
  • Proficient in analyzing Purchase Price Variance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field is preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
