Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial statements, market trends, and economic data.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Generate financial reports and presentations, effectively communicating results and trends to financial managers and business leaders.
  • Participate in the budgeting and planning process, identifying cost-saving opportunities and areas for revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain accurate financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze variances between actual and budgeted results, providing recommendations for course correction.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess financial implications of business initiatives.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and competitor activity, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Participate in the monthly/quarterly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum of three (1) years’ experience in finance or accounting.
  • Proven experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including complex formulas and functions), PowerPoint, and financial modeling software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a healthcare environment desirable but not required.
  • Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tool experience desirable but not required.
