About the position

The Financial Analyst position at Solution Tree is a key role within the Accounting & Finance department, focusing on financial planning and analysis. The analyst will collaborate with various departments to build the annual budget, prepare monthly reports for senior management, and conduct data analysis to support decision-making. This remote position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage large datasets effectively, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
• Analyze large sets of business and financial data.
• Assist with annual budget and projection processes.
• Analyze sales data by product, customer, and territory classifications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of Excel.
• Comfortable learning and working in a variety of software applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics or a related field required.
• Attention to accuracy and detail required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take initiative, and manage time effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with NetSuite and BI Tools a plus (not required).
• Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles preferred.
• Professional experience as a financial analyst or accountant a plus.
