About the position

The Financial Analyst position at Cushman & Wakefield involves developing, preparing, and distributing internal managerial reporting to support business intelligence analysis and strategic planning. The role requires manipulating and organizing data to provide insights for decision-making and responding to ad hoc reporting requests for senior management. A background in finance or accounting is advantageous for understanding departmental requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate data feed of operational and financial data from internal systems, departments, and other key staff.
  • Consolidate and distribute informative reporting and analysis, including forward-looking pipeline opportunities and historical asset/market performance.
  • Create templates or other data collection/distribution tools as needed.
  • Ensure integrity, consistency, and accuracy of data.
  • Interpret and utilize reporting to identify potential areas of improvement.
  • Assess current methods and provide management with recommendations for process changes to increase efficiency.
  • Assist in researching new reporting/dashboard tools and work with the business intelligence team to develop requirements/user stories.
  • Aid in the introduction and training of new tools as they are deployed to the field.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple project streams efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive relationships with internal customers.
  • Interface with BI team, finance and accounting, operations, and project management personnel on various projects as needed.
  • Present findings to senior management, supervisors, and asset services team members as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance or accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Ability to pull and comprehend financial/operational reports from Workday and other internal systems/dashboards.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background and knowledge in Commercial or Residential real estate preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in real estate organization/management operations preferred.
