About The Position
The Financial Analyst position at Aptiv plc is a critical role within the Advanced Safety and User Experience segment (AS&UX). This position is designed to provide essential business insights to Finance Management and offer guidance to the Global Product's Managing Directors, VPs, and their respective teams. The Financial Analyst will support a newly formed and rapidly expanding business unit that aims to become a leading software and technology product organization, focusing on enhancing the autonomous driving experience. In this role, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the forecast and budgeting process, which includes analyzing variations from the budget. The analyst will work closely with various competencies to analyze product financials and proactively collaborate with other teams to achieve both short-term and long-term financial targets. The position also involves performing risk and opportunity analyses, providing potential solutions, and working with program teams to develop recovery plans. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will lead the development of the engineering business plan, budget, and forecast, while also improving process efficiencies through the development of financial models and reporting dashboards. The role requires supporting the Global Product leadership team with financial modeling and analysis to drive strategic investments. The analyst will assist the Senior Finance Director and Finance Manager in preparing financial charts and analyses for monthly and quarterly business reviews with the segment CFO. Furthermore, the analyst will provide guidance to project competencies to achieve key performance metrics and maintain an understanding of key performance indicators, while also supporting ad hoc reporting and analysis.
