Your primary responsibilities will include managing the month-end close process, preparing financial reports, and conducting variance analysis. You will also partner with sector leadership to advise on financial matters, ensuring effective business operations and growth. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strategic thinking and assertiveness in their approach to financial management. To be successful in this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, along with 2-4 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance. A strong understanding of technical accounting and project financial management is essential. You will need to exhibit solid analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. A team-oriented mindset and a proactive attitude are crucial for success in this role, as is a commitment to delivering creative solutions and initiating positive change within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end close processes and financial reporting.
  • Conduct forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Partner with sector leadership to provide financial advice and support.
  • Assist in project financial management and revenue recognition.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including P&L management.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Engage in annual and ad-hoc budgeting activities.
  • Perform financial analysis and modeling as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 2-4 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
  • Strong fundamental accounting and finance skills.
  • Understanding of technical accounting and project financial management.
  • Solid analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
