About the position

The Financial Analyst at Kia will support the preparation and review of the Profit and Loss (P&L) statements for Kia's North America business entities. This role involves conducting comprehensive financial analyses on product profitability and providing ad-hoc reports to assist management in strategic decision-making. The position is integral to monitoring key business indicators and industry trends, ensuring that financial reporting is accurate and timely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial reporting of Kia NA business entities within the specified time.
• Review, analyze, and manage Product Profitability related activities such as gross profit, material cost, and vehicle margin.
• Perform various financial analyses on Kia NA subsidiary and provide comprehensive reports including Business Plans and forecasts.
• Monitor key business indicators and industry trends, performing variance analyses to prepare management reports.
• Provide ad-hoc reports requested from Kia NA management and Kia HQ.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2-5 years of professional work experience in corporate finance.
• 2+ years of financial reporting experience in a corporate environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Automotive industry experience.
• Experience with Finance Planning and Analysis in previous automotive OEMs.
