About the position

Harrison Poultry is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support live and plant operations. The role focuses on financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, with opportunities for growth within the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in financial analysis, capable of working independently and within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, market trends, and operations to identify areas for cost savings.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial performance.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management.
• Analyze production costs, inventory levels, and supply chain expenses to recommend cost-saving initiatives and improve efficiency.
• Develop financial models to support business planning and strategic projects.
• Ensure financial practices comply with internal policies and external regulations.
• Assist with audits and financial reviews.
• Work with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in finance, preferably in the manufacturing or food processing industry.
• Experience with accounting software (Dynamics GP strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Power BI is a plus.
